From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. there is occupational/conversational therapy on the agenda, including a lunch break and a coffee break. Dinner is served at 4 p.m. and tea at 8 p.m. The roomers help in keeping up the house and the garden, cleaning, heating the sauna, showeling snow - all according to each's ability. Three times a week it is possible to take a sauna.
Occupational therapy
Some of the clients at Betlehem daily go to the therapy division at Illby joinery, which is possessed by the Samaria -mission. There, according to their ability, they can restore furniture or make ornaments and utility goods. The productive division at the joinery, where doors, windows and wooden stairs were made, had been able to employ former addicts.
Samaria has also got 7 second hand shops, in which the clients can help, for example by sorting out or transporting goods. Contributions like these raise their self-esteem and teach them to live an independent and responsible life after the time at Betlehem.
