Samaria manages the collection of food waste and the logistics in the Porvoo and Hämeenlinna regions.

Samaria collects surplus food from grocery stores with a refrigerated trucks and delivers it to various distribution points throughout the week. There is also a refrigerated containers available for storing food items. We transport food to all organizations and congregations that distribute food in the regions.

Samaria is responsible for coordinating the logistics of food aid in the City of Hämeenlinna and its surrounding municipalities, Hattula and Janakkala.
Samaria also has an agreement with the Wellbeing Services County of Eastern Uusimaa regarding surplus food logistics for the years 2025–2026.

Samaria also distributes food for its own clients and for Ukrainian refugees.
There is a food distribution event in Porvoo on Saturdays at 11:30 AM, Asentajantie 12.
